Bridie was very seldom shown, she won her class at the Sydney Royal and her
class at the Cocker Show Newcastle on her last appearance. She was then retired
to maternal duties. Her greatest claim to fame was that she was the Dam of Aust.
& Am. CH. Brightleaf The Blacksmith Owned by Doctor Danae Steele in U.S.A..
Bridie and her kennel mate Brightleaf Honey Blonde (Saffron) were inseparable,
and both lived to a great old age having produced many many beautiful Pups, who
when sold as pets made many family's and children happy. Their temperaments
always steady and reliable, and both these old stalwarts, pillars of the breed
are behind the modern day solids in this kennel.
